[holo_separator color='#333'] NEWS Athletics Sean Victor and Jeff Puttergill represented DUT athletics at the National University Championships in Stellenbocsh in April. Jeff won the Silver Medal in Pole Vault and Sean won the silver medal in the 400m. Sean went on to participate in the Athletics South Africa National Championships and also won silver in the 400m. Basketball Our Mens and Women’s Teams participated in the recent University Basketball Championships at the University Of Pretoria. The Men’s Team finished fifth and the Women 7 th. Volleyball DUT men and women participated in Volleyball South Africa’s National Volleyball Club Championships in Bloemfontein , last week. The women lost in the quarter finals and ended 8th .The men’s team lost narrowly in the Finals to UJ , and won Silver Medal. The team will now represent SA in the Africa Zone 6 Championships .
