The company introduced a lightweight steel with cellular lightweight concrete building methodology to government and has been assisting various government departments with rapid infrastructure. The company has a CIDB grading of 6GB PE and a Level 2 BEEE rating. 6Bar has memberships with Master Builders Association and NHBRC, and was a finalist at the SASFA Steel Awards in 2012 in the “below R50 million” category.
